Subject	gas leak left rear wheel well

Message	I put the front end of my car (90tt) on jack stands (rear wheels on the ground) to install JDM bumper. I could smell gas. I then noticed it was dripping from drivers side wheel well. It was a steady drip. I didn't know what to do, so I disconnected the fuel pump relay in drivers kick panel. The dripping shortly stopped. My front end is still raised and no longer dripping(relay still disconnected). I just recently filled tank, but I don't think I overfilled. What would cause this? I read some older post about a vent hose, but found no solution. I don't want my car to turn into a ball of flames, please help.
